Ne vitin 2017, me shume se 300 aplikacione te pranishme ne Google Play Store permbanin “malware” apo viruse te bashkangjitura te cilat jane shkarkuar nga me shume se 106 milione perdorues. Keto jane te dhenat e Security Report 2018 te Check Point Software Technologies. Nder malware me agresive te zbuluar nga CheckPoint eshte ExpensiveWall (i sinjalizuar edhe nga Google nder viruset me te rrezikshme). Sipas te dhenave te Google Play, malware kishte infektuar te pakten 50 aplikacione. Ky virus dergonte mesazhe mashtruese pa dijenine e perdoruesve.
