Komisioneri i Bashkimit Europian për Politikat Europiane tëë Fqinjësisë dhe Negociatave, Johannes Hahn, ka konstatuar se dyert e BE-së do të rrinë ende të mbyllura për Shqipërinë. Negociatat sipas eurokomisionerit nuk dot të hapen të paktën edhe për këtë verë, duke theksuar se duhet më shumë kohë për të vlerësuar rekomandimet e Komisionit Europian. Vendet më skeptike që pengojnë çeljen e negociatave janë Gjermania, Franca dhe Danimarka. Eurokomisioneri ka thënë se shpreson për një vendim përfundimtar në muajin tetor.
